Adventurous, fun loving couple who can't wait to share the joy of their lives with a child. We've been married for seven years, and have been blessed with a wonderful family, friends, and life together. We cannot wait to share those good things with a family of our own!
Dear Expectant Parents:
We're so grateful that you are taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents. Before we start talking about ourselves, it's very important that you know that you will always hold a place of honor in our home. We're really fortunate to have friends and family members with adoption as part of their story, and one thing that we've learned from their stories is that it's impossible to underestimate the love and sacrifice of a birthmother to place her child with another family. We would be honored to have that be a part of our family's story.
We've been married for 7 wonderful years and have always known that we wanted to be parents, but also that having a family would happen through the miracle of adoption. We can't wait to meet the child that God has chosen for us.
Through Ginny, our family will be blessed with a wonderful, fun, loving and faithful mother. She loves an adventure and always makes any trip, whether it is to the other side of the world or just to the farmers market, a world of fun. She loves painting, the color pink, gardening and her favorite guilty pleasure, the Bachelor.
Moving on to Josh. Anyone who knows Josh will tell you that he is contagiously optimistic, kind and generous. As a pastor, Josh's life is centered around the teachings of Christ, and he is deeply grounded in the love and grace of God. He loves to dance (admittedly with more enthusiasm than rhythm), tells terrible jokes, and was made to be a Dad.
Our Life Together
We love to travel, hike, be outside, and play with our bulldog, Otis. Family is so important to us, and we both were blessed with very large families. Ginny grew up in the south, has a brother and a sister and lots of cousins. We love spending time with her siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles and get together regularly at her family's farm. Their farm has been in the family for more than 50 years, and we go there for Thanksgiving, Easter, and any other time we can make it!
Josh grew up in the Northeast where his father is a pastor and his mom is a retired special education teacher - he's got one brother, Ben. Josh also has lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Their family has a cottage on a lake in Canada, and every summer it's like a giant family reunion - we can't wait for our kids to learn to swim, fish, sail, and ski.
We currently live in Texas in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet street and are within walking distance of several parks, our church, a pool, and the pre-school that our kids will attend. It's an awesome neighborhood, and many of our best friends live within walking distance. It's a wonderful place to raise a family.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We cannot imagine what this process is like for you, but we can promise that we will always honor the miracle of your adoption plan. We cannot wait to be parents and look forward to sharing our faith, hope, and love with our child.
