We are best friends and love doing life together. Some of our shared interests are watching movies, spending time with friends (we have great ones), finding new restaurants and coffee shops to try and traveling. We are looking forward to the joys of everyday life together. It's the little things in life that give us the most joy. We cannot wait to make fun memories as a family.
Dear Expectant Mother
Thank you for considering us to be a part of your child's future. We have so much respect for you. Adoption is a selfless decision that comes out of a deep love for your child. The magnitude of the decisions you are making is not lost on us. We are praying for you during this season of your life, for peace and clarity as you walk down this path. Our promise to you is that we will celebrate your baby's life fully, offer the best opportunities we can and continually remind them that they are loved beyond measure.
We met in the winter at a church camp that Kylee was working at during her college break and Chris was there for a ski trip during that time. We were introduced by our best friends and after spending those few days together, our long distance relationship began. Within a couple years, after Kylee finished college and Chris moved to where she was, we were married and working at that same church camp together as full time staff. We moved to a large city after being married 5 years and we love being in TX. After being married almost 12 years, we still work together and we enjoy all the time we get to spend together. We are looking forward to the next journey we get to have together by bringing a sweet child into our family.
What Chris Has To Say About Kylee
Kylee is a truly special person. Not only is she the most loving wife I could ever hope to have, she is also the most supportive. One of her greatest qualities is her unwavering optimism, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. She has taught me so much about what it means to have a positive attitude and a strong faith. I see the joy she has when loving on the children in our life and have no doubt that she will be the most supportive, loving, playful, encouraging and compassionate mother a child could ever hope for. It is an honor to spend my life with her.

Our Family And Friends
Kylee's family is very close. We are blessed to have most of Kylee's family in the same city as us. We spend time together often and see each other every Sunday at church. Kylee's older brother is getting married soon and although he doesn't live near us, we enjoy our time together at holidays. Kylee's youngest brother and sister in law have a sweet baby girl and are expecting their second. We are super excited to watch our family grow and they are thrilled to welcome our child into the family. They will love our child with all that they have.
Chris' family lives only a couple of hours away so we get to see them about as often as we like. When we visit, a lot of time is spent at home improvement stores, followed by Chris working on his Mom's house. He really loves getting to work on the house his father built, and his mom usually has a good list of projects ready when he arrives. We also get to explore the town with his mom to see all the new places that have popped up since our last visit. We get to spend a lot of time with his sisters and niece and nephews. They are all looking forward to another kiddo in the family and are very supportive of our decision to adopt.
We are blessed with an amazing support system. Since we have not always lived near our family, we have developed very close friendships with people around us. These are the people we "Do Life With." Whether we need advice, a shoulder to lean on or in need of some fun friend time, there is always someone ready to step in.
We have watched these families grow and we have grown with them. They have walked the adoption journey with us and are so ready to welcome our child into their lives.
Our Life Group
"Life Group" is what our church calls Sunday School. We call it that because the impact of this group on our lives extends way beyond Sunday morning. This group of people is made up of other couples, most of which have started families and have 2-3 kids. We usually meet multiple times a week for bible studies or just getting together to do something fun. We participate in missions projects together at least once a month. We are proud to call these people friends. We have supported them through the growing of their families and various struggles. In the same way, they have and will continue to support us as we go through life together. Outside of family, these are the people that we know will always be there for us.
We are followers of Jesus Christ. We want to love others as we have been loved and we have no doubt that everything in our lives happens for God's purpose and to bring Him glory. We always wanted to become parents and raise Godly children but it did not come easy to us. After lots of time and prayer, we realized that this was not God's calling for us, for us to conceive a child. Seeds of adoption were starting to pop up and we felt that God was leading us to adoption. God's timing is wonderful and perfect and we have faith that adoption is His plan for us. God continues to teach us about joy, trust and peace as we walk through the adoption process. Our marriage has been strengthened and our faith has been deepened.
A Thank You And A Promise
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We want you to know that we will raise this child to honor you as the one who gifted us with this precious addition to our family. We will commit our lives to providing this child a life of so much unconditional love, adventure, support and laughter in an environment centered around God. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this process.
